Shards of Alara: Wallpaper Grixis August 18, 2008

The Black world of Grixis looks as bad as ever. This image gives us a glimpse of what I’m expecting to be a series of bigger badder black creatures. Demigod of Revenge seems to be the younger cousin of the guy above. I like all the guys seemingly returning from the dead on the lower left as skeletons sacrifice other creatures to this huge demon. It is easy to see where traditional black and red mix in this image but I don’t see much of a hit at how blue will be intertwined.
From some of the unique creatures we have seen spoiled already it seems that horns, teeth and giant weapons are going to be a large part of Alara.
