It’s not too early to start thinking about Conflux. Scoot on over to MTG Realm for an unofficial complete card name list. He found an accidental posting of the set list on a japanese site.

The Clonflux prerelease is scheduled early February so you might as well get back to managing your Fantasy Football teams before thinking about shuffling up any of the second Shards set.

Hey, Thanks for the link-love again Mr. Norm !
Unfortunately, I think one of the spoiler nutters over at MTG Sally found this list a few hours before I independently pulled the set names out of the cache . . . imagine my excitement dashed when I found out someone else already beat me to the easter-egg basket.
Anywho – a spoiler is a spoiler !

Jesus, the shards isnt even street legal, and were already spoiling this set!!

3. Duncan - September 30, 2008

There are 2 things on the list that I’m really looking forward to.

First, it looks like they may finish the fetchland(Flooded Strand and such) cycle with enemy fetchlands. This would be really awesome as fetchlands are used in every format they’re legal in. It would also give Wizards the power to reprint the full 10 card cycle in a base set or an expansion.

Second, Nicol Bolas, Planeswalker looks pretty darn awesome. I started playing around 4th edition and the Elder Dragons were some of the coolest cards around at the time. Nicol Bolas also has a pretty decent backstory so hopefully this means he will make the fiction more interesting than it has been as of late(and by that, I mean since Odyssey). I think a couple things we can expect from his card are that his ultimate will be devastating and he will start with very few loyalty counters(around 2).

4. A random survey of fish - October 6, 2008

I think this is great, and judging by the picture of the fat hydra (and I mean a sumo whose just chowed down with sixty-four lard smoothies, fat) I think that some Timmy players out there are going to be veeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeery happy. (hopefully) (please!)
