Playing with Friends February 19, 2008

Tonight I’m on my way to play with some friends who are just learning how to play (or in one case relearning). This past week they visited the local card shop and bought some morningtide precons. B/U and U/W I believe.

I’ve got a really strong treefolk deck and a giants deck that I haven’t played. But for tonight I just threw together a simple merfolk deck. Simple meaning no rares. I’m worried it will be too fast for their precons but I’m sure they will gang up on me. I thought for one sec about running a straight island walk theme but that wouldn’t be fun.
